Discrimination
A lot of people discriminate other people because of the differences in people, such as skin color, wheight, religion, or behavior. The picture that I took shows discrimination because the teal marker is off to the side of a group of red colored pencils. You could assume that the teal maker would be made fun of or discriminated agianst because it is teal in color and it is a marker and not a colored pencil like the rest. Same as, lets say, a kid that is over weight; they might be discriminated for that a nd make fun of. Others would be discriminated for their behavior, such as I when I was little, well not that little problably about kindergarten through fourth grade. I didn’t really have any friends, at all, during that period in my life and it sucked because I was always all alone at luch, resses, group projects, ect. It was all because I was, and still am, horse crazy. People just didn’t understand me and people discriminated me because of that. My first friend was just as horse crazy as I am, ironic, I know, but we understood each other and became friends for the passion of horses. I guess when one person discriminatesthe by standers think that it is ok to do because they saw it happening to someone else. Discrimination spreads like a wild fire in dry grass. Monkey see, monkey do, you know. Although there always has to be a hero in the story, the people who stand up for others are the heros in the story. And also with that there is the monkey see, monkey do. If only there were more of those heros, the world would be such a better place. As the saying goes treat other people how you would like to be treated. More people would be nice to one anther and then there would be more and more heros. Then there would be peace in the world. There would be no more wars, we might not agree with things but we wouldn’t commit murder, suicide, war crimes, and war itself. This is why discrimination is bad, it gives people bad ideas about themselves and others making them discriminate. Discrimination needs to end, making the world a better place.
